16 foreign citizens, found hiding in a fruit truck

At the Nădlac II Border Crossing Point, a Turkish citizen, driving a truck registered in Turkey, presented himself for border formalities on the way out of the country. According to the documents accompanying the goods, the driver was transporting crates of pomegranates on the Turkey-Netherlands route.

Following the thorough inspection of the truck, 16 foreign citizens were discovered hidden in the cargo compartment, among the transported goods. During the preliminary investigations, it was established that they are citizens of Turkey and Syria.
