71 foreign citizens stopped at the border with Hungary. Some hidden in trunks of transported cars, others spotted at the green border

At the Romanian Nădlac II Border Crossing Point, two Turkish citizens, driving vehicles registered in Turkey, showed up for border formalities on the way out of the country. According to the documents accompanying the goods, the drivers were transporting furniture and tiles for commercial companies in Germany and Poland.

After carrying out a thorough control of the vehicle, the border policemen discovered, hidden in the compartments intended for the transport of goods, among the transported goods, 57 foreign citizens.

The people transported to the headquarters of the sector for investigations where, following checks, the border police established that they are citizens of Bangladesh, Egypt, Pakistan and Palestine, most of them legally entered our country.

And the border police officers from the Vărșand Border Crossing Point carried out a thorough check on a road group led by a Romanian citizen, which was transporting, according to the documents accompanying the goods, cars on the Romania-Germany route.

Following inspection, eight foreign citizens were discovered in the trunks of the transported cars. During preliminary checks, it was established that there are six Bangladeshi nationals and two Sri Lankan nationals.

Also, the border police officers from the Borș Border Police Sector, Bihor county, detected and detained approximately 200 m from the border line, six foreign citizens. Following checks, it was determined that they were citizens of India and Pakistan, who intended to arrive fraudulently in Western European countries.
