Intense actions at the border with Hungary: 116 foreign citizens detected in 24 hours

At the Romanian Nădlac II Border Crossing Point, three Turkish citizens and one Romanian, who were driving vehicles registered in Turkey and Romania, showed up for the border formalities on the way out of the country. According to the documents accompanying the goods, the drivers were transporting various goods (aluminium, metal parts and furniture) for commercial companies in Germany, Hungary and Great Britain.

Following inspection a total of 100 foreign citizens were discovered, hidden in semi-trailers, among the transported goods, as well as in the cab of a tractor, with 47 people discovered in just one transport. .

Also at the Nădlac II Border Crossing Point, two Romanian citizens, as drivers of a bus registered in Romania, traveling on the Romania-Spain route, presented themselves for border formalities on the way out of the country. Following the control carried out on the means of transport, in the space intended for the bedroom in the coach hold and the toilet, six foreign citizens.

And the border police officers from the Nădlac Border Police Sector observed, during the specific border surveillance actions, approximately 10 meters from the border line, ten people moving on foot. They were moved to the place where they were, and since they did not justify their presence in the area, they entered our country legally.

In all cases, the persons were picked up and transported to the headquarters of the Nădlac Border Police Sector for investigations where, following checks, our colleagues established that they are citizens of various Afro-Asian countries (Pakistan, Algeria, Morocco, Iraq, Bangladesh, Turkey , Sri Lanka), who intended to arrive fraudulently in various states in Western Europe.
