On December 19, 2022, officers from the Polish Border Guard Unit revealed 4 foreigners trying to illegally cross the Polish-Belarusian border.
On the section protected by the Border Guard Post in Bobrowniki, 4 foreigners (citizens of Yemen and Syria) swam across the border river Świsłocz. The night on the border was calm.
At the Polish-Belarusian border, three out of eleven sections of the electronic barrier are currently in operation. The first, 21 kilometers long, was launched near Kuźnica, and the second, 16 kilometers long, near Szudzialów and Krynki. Recently, an 18-kilometre section near Nowy Dwór has been commissioned and launched. In total, the barrier is already operating for 55 kilometers. Over 800 day-night and thermal imaging cameras monitor the border there. Signals from the system flow to the Surveillance Center in Białystok, which informs Border Guard patrols about the situation at the border.
