Polish Border Guard reveal eighty people trying to illegally cross from Belarus to Poland

Six citizens of the Congo swam across the border river Swisloch.

On the section protected by the Border Guard Post in Krynki, 6 citizens of the Congo swam across the border river Świsłocz. Other foreigners who illegally entered the territory of Poland came from, among others, Iran, Afghanistan, Syria, Bangladesh, Eritrea, Egypt and Ethiopia.

Officers of the operational and investigative division of the Podlaskie Border Guard Unit in Białowieża detained a Russian citizen of Chechen nationality who was transporting an Afghan citizen after a chase. In turn, in Hajnówka they detained a Moldavian citizen who was transporting three Syrians and two Egyptians. All the foreigners who were transported illegally crossed the Polish-Belarusian border.

Since the beginning of 2023, officers from the Podlaskie Border Guard Unit have detained 270 helpers and organizers in illegally crossing the Polish-Belarusian border.
