Spanish National Police seized 360 kilos of hashish hidden in the “caleta” of a truck trailer

Spanish National Police officers have seized 360 kilos of hashish in the province of Malaga, which were being transported hidden in the “caleta” of a truck trailer. Four people have been arrested and remanded in custody, and a search was carried out in the Malaga town of Coín, during which five vehicles and a rollover kit were seized.

The operation took place during a drug transaction on a farm in the Guadalhorce Valley region. Investigators were able to determine that the hashish being transported was hidden inside a cache made in the trailer bed of a heavy-duty truck.

During the operation, four people allegedly involved in the incident were arrested and remanded in custody. A search was carried out in the Malaga town of Coín, during which five vehicles were seized. One of the vehicles was reported stolen in France last year and had bent license plates. According to investigators, it could have been used in a stash of stolen goods, as it contained abundant traces of beach sand inside and a strong smell of gasoline.

Also during the search, officers detected what is known as a “bump kit” consisting of high-end frequency jammers, shackles, flashlights, geolocation beacons, self-defense sprays, cell phones, a silenced air pistol, and numerous third-party identification documents, some of them forged.
