301 foreigners trying to illegally cross from Belarus to Poland were intercepted by Polish Border Guards

On the June 4 there were 82 attempts to illegally cross the border from Belarus to Poland. A group of 24 foreigners approached the dam, but upon seeing the officers on the Polish side, they all retreated into Belarus. A citizen of Uzbekistan who was transporting 3 Ethiopian citizens was detained near Hajnówka. Foreigners previously illegally crossed the Polish-Belarusian border.

On Saturday (June 3), 124 illegal migrants were revealed. Seeing the Polish patrols, 54 people turned back to Belarus. Two couriers were also arrested that day. In the Białowieża region, a Ukrainian citizen was transporting 12 Syrian citizens and an Egyptian citizen, and a Belarusian citizen transporting 11 foreigners (6 Syrian citizens, 4 Yemen citizens and an Algerian citizen) was detained near Narewka.

On Friday (June 2), 95 people tried to enter Poland illegally. On that day, on the section protected by the Border Guard Post in Płaska, 7 foreigners (3 Guinean citizens, 2 Cameroonian citizens, a Togolese citizen and a Mali citizen) illegally crossed the border river Wołkuszanka. A Moldovan citizen who transported 7 Somali citizens and a Syrian citizen was detained for aiding and abetting.

Events related to illegal migration were recorded in sections protected by Border Guard Posts: in Białowieża, Narewka, Dubicze Cerkiewne, Mielnik, Płaska and Czeremcha. The migrants revealed over the weekend came from many parts of the world. Among them were citizens of Syria, Turkey, Egypt, Afghanistan, Algeria, Yemen, India, Somalia, Cameroon, Togo and Mali.
