Approximately 2 kilograms of drugs found as a result of searches carried out

On Friday, January 19, 2024, border police forces, accompanied by 3 canine teams (one anti-drug dog and two intervention dogs), together with police officers specialized in combating organized crime, carried out 11 home searches in localities within the county Maramureș, after which they identified and picked up approximately 2 kilograms of crystal (a high-risk drug), several boxes with ziplock bags, objects with traces of the substance, mobile phones, sums of money, as well as other means of evidence.
