Bulgarian Customs officers at Lesovo BCP found a large amount of sexual stimulants and cigarettes in a car

Customs officers at Lesovo BCP found contraband 13 650 packs of sexual stimulant and 9800 cigarettes in a car with Bulgarian registration.

The car, driven by a Bulgarian citizen, arrived at the Lesovo BCP on the inbound route from Turkey on 07.02.2023 in the evening. In the customs control area, the driver and the passengers in the car stated that they had nothing to declare.

The car was selected by officers from the “Combating Drug Trafficking” department for a thorough customs inspection. In the course of the control actions, the customs inspectors found in the trunk of the vehicle 1950 boxes with a total of 13 650 sachets of medicinal product labeled Kamagra – a type of sexual stimulant. 9800 pieces (490 boxes) of contraband cigarettes without a Bulgarian excise label were also found in the factory cavity at the place of the spare tire.

It was established that the smuggled goods are the property of the driver of the passenger car – a Bulgarian citizen with the initials A.A. An act of violation of the Law on Customs was drawn up against him and administrative criminal proceedings were initiated.
