Eleven foreign nationals discovered hidden on metal rollers transported by a Turkish driver
At the Nădlac ll Border Crossing Point, Arad County, a 41-year-old Turkish citizen presented himself for border formalities on his way out of the country. The man was driving a road vehicle registered in Turkey that, according to the documents accompanying the goods, was transporting metal rollers on the Turkey-Czech Republic route.
Based on the risk profile, a thorough control of the means of transport was carried out, as a result of which the border police discovered, in the cargo compartment, eleven foreign nationals .
The persons in question were taken to the headquarters of the border police sector for investigation. During the checks, our colleagues established that they are citizens of Bangladesh, Syria, Ethiopia and Egypt, aged between 15 and 40, who intended to fraudulently cross the state border.
