
Espanaro Demonstrates Autonomous Multi-System Orchestration for Remote Monitoring
Espanaro has successfully delivered a live operational trial with a UK Government CNI client, demonstrating the orchestration of cameras, fixed sensors, autonomous drones, and unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs) to enable remote monitoring of sensitive sites.
The trial integrated Espanaro’s core product suite to deliver a complete “sense, reason, decide, effect” capability. Sensor and video feeds were ingested and validated in real time, with edge-based anomaly detection reducing false positives and prioritising genuine events. These inputs were then processed through Espanaro’s decision and orchestration engine, enabling automated tasking of drones for aerial inspection and UGVs for ground verification, alongside alerting remote operators through a single, unified interface.
Crucially, the system was deployed without requiring wholesale replacement of existing infrastructure. Instead, legacy cameras and sensors were integrated with new autonomous platforms, demonstrating a scalable and cost-effective model for modernising security operations across complex, distributed environments.
The trial highlights a clear pathway for border security and critical national infrastructure operators to move toward remote, technology-enabled monitoring, improving situational awareness, reducing on-site personnel requirements, and accelerating response times to potential threats.
