Hidden in two trucks, 47 citizens from Bangladesh and Pakistan tried to cross the border fraudulently
At the Romanian Nădlac II Border Crossing Point , a 40-year-old Turkish citizen, driving a truck registered in Turkey, was stopped transporting bags of plastic granules on the Turkey-Poland route.
Following the thorough control of the means of transport, twenty-four foreign citizens were discovered hidden in the cargo compartment, among the transported goods.
The persons were picked up and transported to the headquarters of the sector for investigations, where, following checks, the border police established that they are citizens of Bangladesh and Pakistan, aged between 20 and 49, who entered our country legally on the basis of personal documents.
Also, at the Nădlac Border Crossing Point , the border police carried out a thorough check on a means of a truck driven by a citizen of Belarus, which, according to the documents accompanying the goods, was carrying bottles of mineral water.
Following the control carried out on the means of transport, they discovered twenty-three foreign citizens in a special compartment arranged in the front part of the semi-trailer (double wall). During the preliminary checks, our colleagues established the fact that they are citizens of Bangladesh, aged between 20 and 46, also legally entered Romania.
