Last day (Monday 01.05) there were 101 illegal attempts to get from Belarus into the depths of Poland. On Sunday (30.04) 56 events related to illegal migration were recorded, on Saturday 31, and on Friday 75. In the section protected by the Border Guard Post in Bobrowniki, foreigners tried to illegally cross the border river Świsłocz — three people (currently Congo, Togo and Sudan) on Monday, 01.05. and two people (from Gabon and Guinea) on Sunday, April 30 this year.
Also, 6 helpers in organizing illegal border crossings were detained. On Friday (April 28), officers from the Border Guard Post in Narewka detained two Latvian citizens and a Belarusian citizen who were transporting a total of 29 Afghans in three cars. Also on that day, a Georgian citizen who came to the Michałów area to pick up four illegal migrants was detained.
Another two couriers were detained on Saturday (29.04). A citizen of Uzbekistan was transporting four Syrians, while a citizen of India was transporting three foreigners who crossed the Polish-Belarusian border against the regulations.
Since the beginning of this year, the officers of the Podlaskie Border Guard Unit have detained 269 helpers and organizers in illegally crossing the border.
