Over 840 grams of cocaine and nearly 5 kilograms of marijuana seized in Varna, Bulgaria

During an operation by the Varna Regional Department of Internal Affairs and the Interior Ministry, nearly five kilograms of marijuana were seized from the home and car of a 36-year-old man working as a master’s degree pharmacist at a hospital in the city. The drug was given to him by a foreign citizen. Both have been detained.

In the continuation of the procedural and investigative actions in the case, additional searches were carried out at sites related to the 36-year-old man. A total of 841.74 grams of cocaine and a certain amount of marijuana were found and seized at two addresses and in a car.
