Over three days 35 foreigners were discovered trying to illegally enter the territory of Poland

On Sunday (December 10), in the section protected by the Border Guard Post in Białowieża, 8 foreigners crossed the border river Leśna Prawa, but 3 people turned back to Belarus when they saw the Polish services. Near Czeremcha, foreigners who tried to illegally cross the border threw tree branches at Polish patrols. No one was injured.

On Saturday, 20 foreigners tried unsuccessfully to cross the Leśna Prawa River. They all fled to Belarus. On Friday (December 8), 7 foreigners tried to get to Poland through the Przegląd border river, including 2 people who returned to Belarus. The disclosed foreigners came from Yemen and Syria.

Since the beginning of 2023, officers from the Podlasie Border Guard Unit have recorded over 25.5 thousand. attempts to illegally cross the Polish-Belarusian border.
