At the border checkpoint in Budzisko, a Lithuanian citizen attempted to bring four Eritreans into Poland. He was detained by officers from the Rutka-Tartak Border Guard Station. The foreigners were denied entry to Poland.

Officers from the Border Guard Post in Sejny detained a Lithuanian citizen in the Puńsk commune. He was transporting four migrants, two from Pakistan and two from Afghanistan. The foreigners had illegally crossed the Polish-Lithuanian border on foot. They had been issued passes from a reception center in Latvia. They were transferred to Lithuania as part of a readmission process.

Drivers who transport illegal migrants face up to eight years in prison.

During a passenger vehicle inspection to enter Poland in Budzisko, officers discovered a forged Polish driving license modeled after a genuine Polish one. An Estonian citizen presented it for inspection, as the document differed from the original.
