Polish Border Guards recorded 45 attempts to illegally cross the Polish-Belarusian border in one day (18th August)

Citizens of Iraq, Afghanistan, Cameroon, Nigeria, Yemen, Syria, Mali, Senegal and India – made an attempt to enter Poland illegally. The foreigners were captured by patrols from the Border Guard Posts in Dubicze Cerkiewne, Płaska, Michałów and Białowieża.

Officers from the Border Guard Post in Dubicze Cerkiewne also detained a courier in Orzeszkowo who was carrying three illegal migrants with Toyota on Warsaw license plates. A 24-year-old citizen of Turkmenistan tried to transfer inland two Syrians and a citizen of Yemen.
