Ten Afghan citizens found at the western border

Border guards from the Nadlac Border Police Sector, Romania, found ten Afghan citizens, seven adults and three minors, who tried to cross the border illegally in Hungary, in order to reach Western European states.

Policemen from the Nădlac Border Police Sector – ITPF Oradea found, at approximately 400 meters from the border line with the neighboring state, ten people walking towards the territory. Hungary and who did not justify their presence in the area.

The ten foreign citizens were taken over and transported to the headquarters of the PF Nădlac Sector, for questioning.

During preliminary checks, border guards determined that the group consisted of ten Afghan citizens, seven men and three minors. Adults are between 18 and 24 years old, and minors between 15 and 16 years old. They said they intended to reach Western European states.

In the case, the border policemen carry out investigations under the aspect of committing the crime of attempting to illegally cross the state border, at the end of which the necessary legal measures will be ordered.
