38 illegal migrants tried to cross the Polish-Belarusian border. 3 couriers carrying foreigners were also detained

32 people were apprehended in the section of the official responsibility of the Border Guard Post in Płaska. The remaining events took place on the sections protected by the Border Guard Posts in Dubicze Cerkiewne, Mielnik and Białowieża. Foreigners who illegally crossed the Polish-Belarusian border last 24 hours came from; Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria and Sudan.

Officers from the Border Guard Post in Płaska, together with Police officers in Rygol (Płaska commune), detained 3 couriers. The drivers (Georgian citizens) in three cars transported a total of 7 illegal migrants (4 citizens of Afghanistan, 2 citizens of Syria and one citizen of Iran). Couriers will be accused of assisting in organizing the illegal border crossing.
