40 people were hidden in a single truck

On 19.10.2022 at the Nădlac Border Crossing Point, a Turkish citizen, driving a road vehicle registered in Turkey, presented himself for border formalities on the way out of the country. It was transporting, according to the documents accompanying the cargo, metal from a trading company in Turkey for a company in Poland.

Following the thorough inspection of the vehicle, 40 citizens from Bangladesh, Syria, Pakistan and India were discovered in the cargo compartment.

Also at the Nădlac II Border Crossing Point, a vehicle driven by a Romanian citizen was transporting car covers on the Romania – Slovakia route.

During checks, the border police discovered five people hidden among the transported goods. Upon investigation the were established as citizens of Pakistan and Afghanistan, aged between 20 and 49. 

Another case was registered at the Nădlac II Border Crossing Point, where a Turkish citizen, driver of a road vehicle registered in Turkey, transporting auto parts for a company from Hungary, officers heard noises from the truck semi-trailer.

Following the inspection, seven foreign citizens were discovered . During the checks, it was established that those in question were citizens of Pakistan and Afghanistan, aged between 18 and 29, most of them asylum seekers in our country.
