Actions at the border with Hungary, 74 foreign citizens detected. 65 of them hidden in a truck loaded with aluminum

The persons were picked up and transported to the headquarters of the sector for investigations where, following the checks, the border police established that they are citizens of various Afro-Asian states who intended to fraudulently cross the state border with the aim of reaching countries in the West Europe.

Also at the Nădlac II Border Crossing, the border police carried out a thorough check on a van driven by a Romanian citizen. As a result of the control carried out on the means of transport, they discovered, in the place intended for the driver’s rest, four foreign citizens. During the preliminary checks, our colleagues established the fact that they are Sri Lankan citizens, aged between 28 and 52 years old, who entered Romania legally on the basis of personal documents.

And the border police officers from the Nădlac Border Police Sector observed, during the specific border surveillance actions, approximately 400 meters from the border line, five people moving on foot. They were moved to the place where they were, and since they did not justify their presence in the area, they were taken to the sector’s headquarters for checks. Following the research, it was established that they are citizens of Morocco, aged between 24 and 39, who entered our country legally.
