Detained at the time of a drug deal during a special operation of the GDBOP and ODMVR – Varna

The joint specialized operation was carried out yesterday by employees of the DG “Combating Organized Crime” and the ODMVR – Varna. Implementation was started after several months of monitoring. In the course of the actions, in the central part of Varna, during a drug deal, four people were detained – three men aged 32, 46 and 62 and a 46-year-old woman. Subsequently, another person involved in the case was detained. 

During the procedural and investigative actions, a total of over 3 kg of methamphetamine, as well as a sum of money in Bulgarian leva, were seized from the two cars in which the three men and the woman were traveling. Searches followed in their homes, where more narcotic substances were found – different in type and quantity, as well as an electronic scale.
