Federal Police discover five Afghans smuggled in back of truck

Five Afghan citizens without residence permits were discovered on the loading area of ​​the Bulgarian truck by the German Federal Police in Magdeburg. The Afghans journeyed through Iran, Turkey, Greece, Bulgaria, Serbia and Romania. They used the truck from Romania and used it to enter Germany without permission.

They paid an intermediary in Romania between 1,500 and 2,000 euros for these smuggling operations. After all police measures had been completed, the three adult men were referred to the state initial reception center after consulting the responsible immigration authorities. The two young people were handed over to the youth emergency service.
