Last weekend, officers from the Podlasie Border Guard Unit recorded 79 attempts to illegally cross the Polish-Belarusian border

On Sunday, August 21, 29 foreigners tried to cross the Polish-Belarusian border illegally. The events took place on the sections protected by Border Guard Posts in Białowieża, Bobrowniki and Dubicze Cerkiewne. On Saturday, August 20, 24 attempts to illegally cross the Polish-Belarusian border were thwarted in sections of the official responsibility of the Border Guard Posts in Białowieża, Nowy Dwór and Kuźnica. On Friday, August 19, 26 foreigners tried to cross the border in sections protected by the Border Guard Posts in Białowieża and Bobrowniki.

Foreigners who tried to cross the Polish-Belarusian border illegally during the weekend came from, among others, Nepal, Cameroon, Mali, Senegal, Ghana and Syria.
