More than half a ton of hashish pollen seized in a vehicle on the A-66

The Civil Guard has seized 528 kilos of hashish pollen in a device near Cáceres on the A-66 motorway and has arrested its 31-year-old driver, who has already been imprisoned for a crime against public health. This is the largest seizure of this drug in Extremadura in the last ten years.The agents intercepted a suspect vehicle that was driving up the A-66 and, after searching it, found inside a total of 14 bundles containing hashish pollen tablets. The bales have thrown a weight of 528 kilograms.

Drug transport in the Peninsula

This action is part of the Telos plan in the fight against drug trafficking in the Peninsula through sea, land and air routes. Avoiding its distribution and entry into the market in Spain or in any other European country is the main objective.
