Syrian citizen found hiding in a bag

Romanian border police officers from the Giurgiu-Russian Border Crossing Point found a Syrian citizen hidden in a bag after checking a road vehicle traveling on the Turkey-Ukraine route.

At the Giurgiu-Russian Border Crossing Point, a Ukrainian citizen, aged 56, driving a vehicle, registered in Ukraine, which, according to the documents was transporting PVC granules on the Turkey-Ukraine route.

During the border control, officers discovered a 30-year-old man hidden inside in a bag.

During the investigations, no identity documents were discovered on the man in question, he verbally declared that he is a Syrian citizen.
