Ten foreign citizens detected by the Romanian Arad border police
Border Guards stopped a Romanian citizen, driving a truck, carrying aluminum profiles for a UK company.
Following the thorough control of the means of transport, three foreign nationals were discovered hidden in the cargo compartment .
The people were taken and transported to the headquarters of the sector for investigations where, and following the verifications, the border police established that they are citizens of Afghanistan, aged between 17 and 22, asylum seekers in our country.
Also, yesterday, at the same border crossing point, the border guards observed, in the area adjacent to the freight terminal, about 200 meters from the border line, four people walking. As they did not justify their presence in the area, they were taken to the sector headquarters for checks. Following the research, it was established that there are citizens of Tunisia, aged between 22 and 25, asylum seekers in our country.
Border guards at the Nădlac I Border Crossing Point also carried out a thorough check on a carmaker driven by a Bulgarian citizen, who was loaded with sunflower seeds for an Austrian company. Following the control, three foreign nationals were discovered hidden in the cargo compartment . During the verifications, it was established that they are from Afghanistan, aged between 16 and 53, asylum seekers in our country.
