Three Bangladeshi men hiding in a trailer, spotted while trying to enter Western Europe illegally

At  the Romanian Cenad Border Crossing Point, Timiş County, a 44-year-old Romanian citizen presented himself for border formalities on his way out of the country. The man was driving a car with a trailer, both registered in Romania.

Based on the risk profile, a thorough check was carried out, as a result of which the border police discovered, in the trailer of the car,  three foreign citizens, hidden among mattresses, blankets and other personal products.

The persons in question were taken to the headquarters of the border police sector for investigation. During the checks, our colleagues established that the persons are citizens of Bangladesh, aged between 29 and 39 years old and they entered the territory of Romania legally. They stated that they intended to arrive illegally in a western European state.
