Border guards detained 92 migrants from Belarus
Last Thursday, the border guards detained 92 migrants from Belarus who crossed the border illegally, according to preliminary data.
Of all 92 foreigners arrested on Thursday, 73 introduced themselves as Iraqi citizens or had documents from that country.
Migrants were to be tested for COVID-19 and isolated until results are available. The circumstances of the events are being clarified, investigations are underway. Asylum seekers have been notified of the Migration Department, which processes such applications.
