During the special action in Plovdiv, over 270 kg of tobacco leaves were seized

A specialized operation to counter the smuggling of excise goods was conducted at the end of last week by employees of the “Economic Police” department and the “Specialized Tactical Actions” sector of the regional directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. 

In the course of it, procedural and investigative actions were carried out in a building on the land of a Plovdiv village. 

Several bales of tobacco leaf mass, with a total weight of 271 kg, a cutting machine and a scale were found there. 13 kg of finished products were also seized. Four people from Plovdiv were found and detained on the spot, with forensic registrations in the police.
