Home searches in a migrant trafficking case

Between December 13-15 this year, border police officers from the Territorial Inspectorate of the Romanian Border Police and the Territorial Inspectorate of the Sighetul Marmații Border Police, together with workers from the Timiş County Gendarmerie Inspectorate, carried out five house searches at several locations from the county of Arad and Satu Mare, in a criminal case concerning the crime of migrant trafficking.

The action took place under the direct coordination of the case prosecutor from the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the Caraș-Severin Court, five arrest warrants being executed.
