Man caught red-handed by border police with over 3.7 kilograms of methamphetamine

A 61-year-old Bulgarian citizen is being investigated for committing the crimes of high-risk international drug trafficking and high-risk domestic drug trafficking.

He was caught red-handed by Romanian border police in the area of ​​the Calafat-Vidin toll station, while transporting a quantity of over 3.7 kilograms of methamphetamine (high-risk drug) mixed with pseudoephedrine (precursor).

Following the inspection of the car, substances were discovered in the armrest and trunk, packaged in rolls of fabric and plastic bags.
