Nine people apprehended at border crossing points
On 19 June 2022, members of the BiH Border Police Unit Brčko apprehended M.Z. (1976), a citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Croatia. Namely, border checks established that the Police of the Brčko District of BiH had announced a search for him for the criminal offence of ‘Forgery of a document’. He was controlled at the exit from BiH at the International Border Crossing Point Brčko and handed over to the officers of the Court Police of the Brčko District of BiH.
On 17 June 2022, members of the BP BiH Unit Airport Sarajevo apprehended M.H. (1988) on a flight from Dortmund, because it was established that he was wanted by the Municipal Court in Gradačac and the Municipal Court in Travnik for the criminal offences of ‘Aggravated theft’. The BiH citizen was handed over to the officers of the Court Police Centre in Sarajevo Canton. On the same day, the officers of this Unit apprehended Z.K. (1978) on a flight from Paris, after it was determined that he was wanted by the District Public Prosecutor’s Office in Istočno Sarajevo for the criminal offences of ‘Abuse of official position’ and ‘Forgery or destruction of an official document’. The citizen of the Republic of Serbia was handed over to the officers of the Police Station Istočno Novo Sarajevo. Also, 17 on June 2022, A.V. (1989) was apprehended on a flight to Hurghada, because the Ministry of the Interior of the Sarajevo Canton had announced a search for her for the criminal offence of ‘Possessing and enabling the use of narcotic drugs’. The BiH the citizen was handed over to the officers of the Sarajevo Canton Ministry of the Interior. In addition to the above, on 17 June 2022, the officers of the BP BiH Unit Airport Sarajevo apprehended A.B. (1982) on a flight from Vienna, because it was established that he was wanted by the Municipal Court in Zenica for the criminal offence of ‘Unauthorized production and sale of narcotic drugs’. The BiH citizen was handed over to the officers of the Court Police Centre in Sarajevo Canton.
On 17 June 2022, members of the BP BiH Unit Airport Tuzla apprehended S.H. (1978) on a flight from Memmingen at the International Airport Tuzla. It was determined that he was wanted by the Court of BiH for the criminal offence of ‘Tax evasion – fraud’. The BiH citizen was handed over to the officers of the Institute for the Execution of Criminal Sanctions, Detention and Other Measures of BiH.
On 17 June 2022, members of the BP BiH Unit Višegrad apprehended two people on the basis of announced searches. I.M. (1993) was apprehended at the entrance to BiH at the BCP Vardište, because it was established that Interpol Vienna had issued a warrant for his arrest for criminal offences related to drug abuse. The citizen of the Republic of Serbia was handed over to the officers of the Court Police of the Court of BiH. D.P. (1994) was apprehended crossing on the way out of our country at the BCP Uvac, because it was determined that he was wanted by the Basic Court in Zvornik in order to serve his prison sentence. The BiH citizen was handed over to the officers of the District Court Police Centre Istočno Sarajevo.
On 16 June 2022, members of the BP BiH Unit Orašje apprehended M.G. (1993), after it was established that he was wanted by the Municipal Court in Konjic for the criminal offence of ‘Theft’. The citizen of the Republic of Croatia was controlled at the entrance to BiH at the BCP Orašje and handed over to the officers of the Court Police Centre in the Posavina Canton.
On 16 June 2022, members of the BP BiH Unit Bijeljina apprehended D.B. (1981) while entering BiH at the BCP Rača, The checks established that Interpol Wiesbaden had issued a warrant for his arrest for the criminal offence of ‘Commercial fraud’. The citizen of the Republic of Serbia was handed over to the officers of the Court Police of the Court of BiH.
