Polish Border Guards detain 78 illegal migrants

Officers from the Polish Border Guard detected 78 foreigners trying to illegally cross from Belarus to Poland. One courier was also detained in the Mielnik area.

30 foreigners who illegally crossed the state border were apprehended in the section protected by the Border Guard Post in Mielnik. Interventions related to thwarting illegal migration were also carried out by officers from Border Guard posts in: Bobrowniki, Nowy Dwór, Narewka, Białowieża, Czeremsza and Dubicze Cerkiewne.

In the area of ​​Krynki, 14 people (13 citizens of Syria and a citizen of Yemen) crossed the Svislach border river using a pontoon. Several foreigners at the technical barrier were noticed by Polish patrols and retreated to Belarus.

Officers from the Border Guard Post in Mielnik, near the town of Adamowo, stopped for inspection a Ford with Polish registration plates driven by a 22-year-old Ethiopian. It turned out that in his car he was carrying 4 Eritrean citizens who illegally crossed the border into Poland.
