SEF intercepts drugs transport flagged by Guardia Civil

​The Immigration and Borders Service (SEF) has intercepted, at the authorised crossing point of Castro Marim, one vehicle with a Spanish licence plate, flagged by Guardia Civil for drug transport.

During the search made to the vehicle, SEF inspectors found that two passengers were carrying drugs. In addition, 13 thousand Euros cash have been seized.

The registration for possession of drugs and noncompliance of the mandatory restrictions to the circulation under the State of Emergency has been made.

The foreign nationals have been handed over to the Spanish authorities of the Police and Customs Cooperation Centre of Castro Marim, as well as the vehicle.
