Smuggled sexual stimulants seized by Bulgarian customs officers at Danube Bridge

Over 9500 boxes of smuggled sexual stimulants, transported to Germany, were detained by customs officers from Rousse Customs.

On 1/3/23 in the area of the BCP Danube Bridge 2 – Vidin-Calafat customs inspectors stopped for a thorough inspection a passenger van driven by a Syrian citizen.

The driver of the vehicle declares that he is transporting walnuts to Germany and presents documents for the cargo. During a physical inspection, the customs officers found that 24 boxes of sexual potency preparation, for which no documents were presented, were concealed under the declared goods.

The total quantity seized by the customs authorities was 9530 boxes containing 66 710 sachets of sexual stimulant.
