Spanish Civil Guard caught ten people red-handed trying to unload 3.5 tons of hashish on the coast of Huelva

The Civil Guard has arrested ten people while they were unloading bales of hashish from a boat near the coast of Huelva. A total of 88 bales of hashish, weighing 3,520 kilos, were seized, along with two vehicles and a boat. The detainees are charged with an alleged crime against public health.

The interception of the vessel took place when agents detected a drug-running speedboat approaching the coast of Huelva where another panel boat was waiting to indicate the precise route it should follow to avoid running aground in shallow areas.

After confirming that the drug landing on land was imminent, the Civil Guard established a surveillance operation to arrest the perpetrators and seize the drugs. During the operation, officers observed both vessels heading through the channels and, at a specific point, the transfer of drugs from the speedboat to the smaller vessel began. The smaller vessel then continued towards land, while the larger speedboat headed out to sea.

Once the panel boat reached land, the members of the organization began unloading the drugs, at which point the officers proceeded with the arrests. It should be noted that, during the police operation, the perpetrators attempted to flee into the marshland.
