The Spanish Civil Guard seizes seven kilos of cocaine hidden in the wheels of a car in La Jonquera (Girona)

The Spanish Civil Guard has found 7.7 kilos of cocaine inside a vehicle, at a control in La Jonquera (Girona). The drugs were hidden inside the front tires of the car. The driver -a 35-year-old man- has been arrested for a crime against public health. The agents intercepted the vehicle with a German license plate, which was traveling in the direction of France, on the AP-7 to carry out a more exhaustive inspection. A dog from the Cynological Service clearly and insistently marked both front wheels.

The civil guards proceed to a more thorough inspection, disassembling the steps of both wheels, and discovering inside seven packages that contained the drug.

The proceedings, the detainee and the seized drugs were placed at the disposal of the Acting Investigating Court of Guardia de Figueres.
