ClanTect HPDS Secures First Major Contract Under 3DX-Ray Ownership
ClanTect, as part of the 3DX-RAY Ltd portfolio, has secured a significant contract to supply six ClanTect Human Presence Detection systems to support state border security operations in Eurasia.
The award represents the first major contract secured by ClanTect since becoming part of 3DX-Ray and marks another important milestone in the continued international deployment of advanced clandestine detection technology.
ClanTect HPDS is designed to provide a fast, highly accurate, non-intrusive system for detecting the presence of human beings concealed within vehicles, trucks and trailers. The system uses a proprietary vibration detection methodology that distinguishes between external environmental vibrations and movement generated from within a vehicle, enabling highly effective screening without intrusive inspection procedures.
The latest version of the ClanTect HPDS incorporates wireless sensor technology that enables multiple vehicles to be screened simultaneously, significantly increasing throughput at border checkpoints, ports and other security-critical locations.
ClanTect systems are already deployed at high-security prisons and border crossings around the world, including operations supporting the UK Border Force and Frontex, the European Border and Coast Guard Agency. The technology helps authorities detect clandestine entrants, fugitives, and other concealed persons hidden within commercial and private vehicles.
Over the years, ClanTect systems have contributed to the detection of tens of thousands of clandestines and wanted individuals, helping border agencies strengthen security while improving operational efficiency and safeguarding human life.
