FRONTEX Deputy Executive Director for Returns and Operations on a working visit to the Romanian Border Police

At the headquarters of the General Inspectorate of the Romanian Border Police, Mr. Inspector General, Police Quaestor Victor-Ştefan IVAŞCU, received the official visit of Mr. Lars GERDES, Deputy Executive Director for Returns and Operations of the European Agency for Border Police and Guard Coast (FRONTEX).

During the visit, Frontex officials carried out a series of working visits to the territorial structures of the Border Police – Coast Guard, ITPF Iaşi and ITPF Sighetu Marmaţiei, then on June 14 the official ceremony of opening of the Operational Pilot Project regarding the Frontex Chain of Command of the Permanent Corps.
